Laser, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and LHE (Light & Heat Energy) are
all light based technologies that are used for skin rejuventation
However in the case of Laser and IPL only the light is used and the heat

LHE (Light Heat Energy) stimulates new collagen growth, This helps to replenish and to even out the shrunken dermis layer.
As the collagen is rebuilds the texture and the tone of the skin improve and the fine lines and wrinkles fade.
Near and mid infrared wavelengths are directly absorbed by intra and extracellular water. The resulting mild thermal insult to the papillary and upper reticular dermis leads to fibroblast activation.
Fibroblasts are connective tissue cells that are responsible for making the collagen and elastin fiber cells that are found in the connective tissue of the dermis.
This creation of new collagen and connective material caused by the thermal insult and the subsequent fibroblast activation occurs over a period time, from a few weeks to a several months.
