Laser, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and LHE (Light & Heat Energy) are all light based technoligies.

However in the case of Laser and IPL only the light is used and the heat is filtered out. This requires very high fluences that need skin cooling techniqes in order to protect the client. 

The LHE Difference

Using the principles of selective photothermolysis, LHE uses the heat rather than filtering it out and creates the exact balance of light and heat for each application.

This natural fusuion of both Light AND Heat allows for a more efficient photo thermal technique and allows fluences to be lowered to low levels. This in turn eliminates the need for skin cooling techniques and simplifies the treatment process.

Using the sophisticated LHE combination of Light & Heat technology, the laser targets the hair's shaft, damaging the root, inhibiting and preventing future hair growth with long term results.

A course of LHE treatments usually varies from 5 to 8 sessions, depending on hair and skin colour and the timing between sessions 
 
Whilst it is often advertised as permanent hair removal in reality the effects cannot be said to be permanent as some regrowth will occur over time. The duration of the long term results will depend on various factors including your skin type and the number of treatments.

Treatments sessions are spaced between 3 and 12 weeks however each clients has a unique profile and your therapist will judge the treatments required and the time between sessions to achieve the best and longest lasting lasting results.
